Proposed Plan Teach How We Learn using innovative and research-based practices in the area of technology integration. Use student feedback from course evaluations to make necessary changes to the course. Teach Instructional Design using innovative and research-based practices in the area of technology integration. Use student feedback from course evaluations to make necessary changes to the course. Teach other classes as assigned. Serve as academic adviser to the Technology Integration Specialty M.Ed. students. Interview candidates for the TI program. Facilitate the online orientation and graduation seminar courses for the TI students.

Proposed Plan Present at the Tennessee Education Technology Conference in 2013 (if proposal is accepted). Present at International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conference in June 2014 (if proposal is accepted). Present at Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) conference in March 2014 (if proposals are accepted). Complete the Sloan Consortium Online Teaching Certificate through the Lipscomb Universitys Center for Teaching and Learning. Share new knowledge with COE faculty as needed. Prepare article submission to a scholarly journal on the topic of technology integration.

Effectively advise students regarding academic coursework by maintaining monthly contact via email and/or face-to-face meetings. Volunteer to help undergraduate faculty in various capacities such as scoring student teaching unit plans or demonstrating how to integrate effective technology tools (especially regarding Common Core) into lesson plans for their students. Serve as the College of Educations faculty representative on Lipscomb Universitys Academic Technology Task Force. Serve as co-chair on Lipscombs Emerging and Achieving Professionals (LEAP) committee.

Proposed Plan Continue redesigning Technology Integration Specialty courses to make them more competency-specific and to integrate iPad applications. Collaborate with the program director to develop the Technology for Special Groups course content. Create and define assignments, including key assignments and spiritual formation assignments, for the classes. Develop a CourseSites website specifically for the Technology Integration Specialty program in order to ensure effective content and instructors across the entire program. Collaborate with the program directors to assess online course rubrics and training offered to full-time and adjunct professors. Provide training sessions as needed. Collaborate with program director to select adjuncts and create course progressions for the Technology Integration Specialty program.
