ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS (Que.No.1 is compulsory) 1. A pentagonal prism of base side 30 mm and axis length 60 mm rests on the HP on one of the base corners with the base edges containing it being equally inclined to HP. The axis is inclined at 45 to the HP and parallel to the VP. Draw the projections of the prism by change of position method. (10)

2. (a)A cone of diameter 40mm and axis 50mm rests on its base on HP. A section plane perpendicular to VP and inclined at 45 to HP cuts the solid and passes through a point on axis which is 20mm above HP. Draw the sectional top view and front view and true shape of the section. (20) (Or) (b)A pentagonal pyramid, side of base 30 mm and axis 60 mm long rests with its base on HP and an edge of its base is parallel to V.P. A section plane perpendicular to H.P and inclined at 45 to V.P passes through 10mm away from the axis. Draw the sectional top view and true shape of the section. (20)

3. (a)A hexagonal pyramid of base edge 40 mm and altitude 80 mm rests on one of its base edges on the HP with its axis inclined at 30 to the HP and parallel to the VP. Draw its projections. (20) (Or) (b) Draw the projections of a cylinder of diameter 40 mm and axis 70 mm long when it rests on the VP on one of its base points. The axis of the cylinder is parallel to HP and inclined at 30 to VP. (20) **********************
