    Dear Mr. President, Welcome back to the great state of North Carolina this Thursday.

    This will mark the second time this year you have visited the Tarheel State in an effort to talk to one of the battleground states that rejected your message in the last election season. It's easy to see North Carolina Democrats are very appreciative of your visits to our state ahead of such a critical election for your friend, supporter, and colleague Kay Hagan . Kay Hagan has stood in solidarity with your White House to weaken the Second Amendment, endorse gay marriage, and firmly support Obamacare . Unfortunately, for her your priorities have been overwhelmingly rejected by North Carolinians. Mr. President, as you know the North Carolina Republican Party is holding its 2013 State Convention in Charlotte this weekend, and we hope you will accept this letter as an official invitation to attend, as North Carolinians have a variety of questions to ask you. Our state takes very seriously the recent events surrounding the IRS targeting of conservative groups, your Attorney General Eric Holder's long list of missteps, and your lack of leadership during the Benghazi tragedy and cover up. As you know, Mr . PreSident, North Carolina sent a message to Washington by choosing a Republican Governor, 4 new GOP Congressmen , and Republican majorities in our state General Assembly. Our voters want leadership with a common sense approach: cut government spending, take our national debt seriously, and most importantly, get people back to work .
