Background:
Concepts of designing, installing and operating sewer systems have changed significantly over the past 25 years or so. In particular in Europe the use of plastic piping systems has clearly contributed to a much better controlled operation and maintenance by the system owners. This seminar will deal with the history and current situation of sewers, modern approaches using plastic piping systems, including access chambers, and existing sewers requiring rehabilitation.

Speaker Profile:
Wim Elzink has 40 years of experience in the application of plastic pipes. He is the International Product Manager of Wavin, an internationally leading supplier of plastics piping systems. In his earlier days, he has led research on buried plastic pipe performance and managed several development projects, including Wavins pipeline renovation system Compact Pipe.

Number of delegates is limited to 240 participants and prior registration is required. Whilst seats are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis, priority will be given to applications from the members of the Organizer and Co-organizers. Successful registrants will be notified by email or mobile phone on or before 22 March 2013 which has to be presented at the venue before entrance for verification. If applicants do not receive the confirmation on or before 22 March 2013, their applications will be regarded as not successful. CPD will be issued to those who attend the seminar.
