CAUSES CONTAMINATION OF THE SOIL The main cause of pollution of the soil is the irrational use that man

has been doing the same, by means of the daily activities of exploitation of natural resources. The following are some of man's activities that contribute to pollution of the soil:

The use of pesticides in the agriculture The breakdown of underground storage tanks Areas of sanitary fillings or dumps Direct accumulation of garbage of industrial products

EFFECTS CONTAMINATION OF THE SOIL Contaminate the ground leads to the destruction of nature in general and as the ultimate end the degradation of human health. For example, damage to the soil where food is grown for the daily sustenance of the people, leads to a decrease in food production, and hence to the famine of the community, generating also diseases and low quality of life of the people.
