BUILDING A Model HOUSE

METHOD

1. Cut the roof of the box with big scissors ( the biggest bit in top) 2. Then surround it in foil (one layer) 3. Stick the grass on the spot opposite side of the part that you cut off. 4. Paint all the inside blue (put a piece of paper on top of the grass so it does not get paint on it) 5. Once dry one side of the box has to be cut (the front of the box) Fron 6. On the side you recently cut off, paint green over 11cm of blue t until you cant see blue. 7. While the pain is wet, put as stick cotton balls in it as you can on it.

Nikolas Montagnese 6M 8. Mix green and blue paint and use it to paint the entire triangular prism. 9. Wrap three layers of glad-wrap around the triangular prism when dry. 10. 11. Stick the triangular prism on top of the house. Fold all the left over paper in half then stick them all together.

12. Then stick it with sticky tape Zaon the front and make it act as a door. 13. Then test it.

RESULTS We put 6.5 litres of water on the house. Both Tanakas and my house put up well with it. Only my door did not work out well. Then to melt the butter it took 4 days (to melt a tiny bit). CONCLUSION In the end, the house that was most waterproof was mine. The evidence we have to prove this is that my house has glad wrap on the roof and Tanakas house had foil. They both work but glad-wrap works better. The house that was the most insulating was mine again because it had grass and cotton balls and Tanakas house had no insulators. The evidence we have of this is Tanaka has no insulators. Some good house design features of our houses were that I have fake grass on the bottom and I painted it. Some areas I could have improved to make my house more waterproof would be to waterproof my door. Some areas I could have improved to make my house more insulating would be to put more cotton balls.
