A. Mineralogical Characterization of Ores/minerals QEMSCAN-modern mineral characterization technique: Petrographic Microscopes-through advance software viz. MINERAL 3:-

has developed advanced software MINERAL 3 from which very vital details of ore can be derived like- porosity, management of unidentified area, iron mineral correction, particle separation/joining, particle identification etc.

Detailed Study on lateritic ore:Highly altered, hydrated, low grade ores can be studied with the help of advanced tool like QEMSCAN and MINERAL 3 which will provide detailed mineral association and liberation study for selection of further beneficiation & blending process and marketability decision making. Microbial secrets/studies on iron ore- iron oxidation and cell replication. Bio leaching study in iron and silica chemistry (BHJ/BHQ formation):has developed to understand Iron & Silica chemistry by using Microbials/microorganisms for iron sulphide ores. Similar study for iron oxides may helpful in understanding of origin/genesis of India iron silicate ores like BHJ/BHQ which may help in further up gradation and yield & recovery optimization.

Particle mineralogy and characterization of ultrafine gangue to improve concentrate grade and recovery:After grinding of ores, fines and ultra fine generation are bound to happen. Study of these fines and ultra fines is very critical task. Detailed study of these ultra fines is useful in grade, yield & recovery optimization. B. Mineralogical Characterization of Sinters/PelletsTumble index modeling, Reduction Disintegration Index modeling, Blend Optimization, & Productivity modeling.
