Rosa Parks was born on February 4, 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama.

In 1929 Rosa left her school to care for her sick grandmothe r.

In 1932, Rosa married Raymond Parks who was a barber.

What led Rosa to her accomplishment was that she didnt give up her seat to a white person on the bus. She was sent to jail because of this.

Rosa won the Spingarn Medal for her work in civil rights.

Rosas school was burned down by the Klu Klux Klan before she went there.

Rosa lost her job because of the bus protests.

Rosas main accomplishment was that she fought for the black rights.
