Instruction regarding installation of COSA under ROPA 2009

1. Take backup all existing Database files of COSA (Old DBFs) in separate Folder in the Machine and also in other removal media as a Precautionary Measure. 2. Take backup of the cosa.exe (OLD). 3. Download the updated COSA exe and the payscale_new.dbf from the website. 4. Put updated COSA.exe in the existing COSA folder, and put the payscale_new.dbf with the other dbf ,related to COSA. 5. Run the updated COSA exe. 6. Click the Alter Table Button in the login page. 7. It will show a message box click it OK 8. Now it is ready to use COSA under ROPA 2009. 9. Enter User_Id and Password in the login form. 10. Scroll for the next month. 11. Change the State government new DA,HRA at the MASTER DATA. MASTER DATA --------> STATE DA Rate MASTER DATA --------> STATE HRA Rate 12. Enter into Monthly Salary Form (SALARY DATA --------> Monthly Salary). Choose a particular employee for the desire month and year. To show the details of the employee click Personnel Details Button. 13. Change the ROPA opt to 2009 select the particular grade pay. Put the correct Payband Pay (without grade pay). 14. Now click save to save the data. 15. It will show a message box click it yes. 16. then exit from the perssonel form. 17. Click Refresh Form button in the Monthly Salary from . Now Add DA and HRA .. Click Add button to select Dearness Allowance Click Add button to select House Rent Allowance 18.Then Click SAVE button 19.Verify the Gross Pay and Net Pay. 20.Verify the Deduction :such as. Ptax. ,Income Tax.
