Dear Sir/Madam,
This is further to the University Notification No.2013/24 dated 18
th
Feb, 2013 pertaining to
students detained on account of shortage of attendance. The following is clarified:
1. Those students who were detained from appearing in the semester examinations
held in Nov-Dec-2012 or May-June, 2012 annual mode, it is expected that the
Internal Assessment is already available and they will retain the same.
2. Where no Internal Assessment was extended to the above stated students for their
semester 1/111 or II year annual mode, such student are to be given 40% marks in their
Internal Assessment of each paper except student of B.A. Programme & B.Com
Programme. In the case of students of B.A. programme & B.Com. Programme, 36%
marks will be awarded in the Internal Assessment.
3. Practicals:
Students, who appeared in the Practical Examinations in the year when detained,
shall retain their Practical marks.
Students who didn't appear in the practical Examination in 1/111 Semester will be given

ER in such papers. For students in semester, who couldn't take practical
examinations of 5
th
Semestei, University will assign a college for conduct of their 5
th
semester practical examinations. Similarly 2
nd
year students (now to appear in the 3
rd
year examinations to be held in May-June, 2013), will also be examined in their in the
2nd Year practical examinations at an aSSigned College. You are requested to send
details of such students to the Examination Branch to enable us to make necessary
arrangements.
It may be kindly noted that the above stated scheme is applicable to the students who were
detained on account of shortage of attendance.
