Natural Physical Law Ex: -natural physical laws (physics, chemistry, biology, mechanics) B. Natural Moral Law Ex: -to do good and avoid evil; to tell the truth; to respect life and property 2. Positive Law its promulgation is by fact on sensible sign A. Divine Positive Law sensible sign comes from God Ex: -ritual laws of the old and new testaments; 10 commandments B. Human Positive Law sensible sign comes from human authority2 B1. Ecclesiastical Law sensible sign comes from the church Ex: -mass; holy days of obligations; canon laws B2. Civil Law sensible sign comes from the state. Ex: -state taxes; contracts; constitution
