PROCESSING ASSEMBLY The processing assembly consists of three parts: a sealing ring (5) used as a cushion between the jar and the blade; a high grade stainless steel blade (2); a threaded jar bottom (7). MOTOR AND MOTOR BASE The powerful multi-speed motor is the heart of the appliance. It is completely enclosed within the motor base (8). The motor uses a free-floating feature to reduce noise and wear. This allows the square post, which protrudes from the motor base to move slightly from side to side. The powerful food processing motor can be overloaded. To avoid this possibility, closely follow the instructions in this manual.

USE OF DAMAGED OR NON-RECOMMENDED PARTS COULD RESULT IN SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE BLENDER. See page 3 for proper container assembly and user instructions. NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER. The motor base can be cleaned with a damp cloth (unplug first). The motor is permanently lubricated and does not require any additional lubrication. ANY SERVICING SHOULD BE PERFORMED BY AN AUTHORIZED OSTER SERVICE CENTER.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than an Oster Authorized Service Center. ASSEMBLING YOUR BLENDER

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug fits a polarized outlet only one way. This is a safety feature intended to help reduce the risk of electrical shock. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. DO NOT wrap cord around blender while it is in use or after. CONOCIENDO SU LICUADORA OSTER DE 2 VELOCIDADES

TAPA La tapa de su licuadora Oster consiste de dos partes, la copa de acceso (4) y la tapa de vinilo (3). La tapa es de sellado automtico y est hecha de vinilo resistente a la absorcin de olores y manchas. La copa de acceso es removible para ser utilizada como una copa de medicin y cuenta con una cmoda abertura para agregar ingredientes. VASO El vaso (1) para la licuadora est graduado para facilitar la medicin y est diseado con un material resistente al calor y al fro. Su prctica agarradera y pico vertedor permiten remover fcilmente las mezclas lquidas, mientras las ms espesas son ms fciles de remover a travs del orificio inferior. PROCESO DE ENSAMBLADO El proceso de ensamblado consiste de 3 partes: un anillo de plstico para sellar (5) utilizado como colchn entre el vaso y la cuchilla (2). Una cuchilla de acero inoxidable de gran calidad, un vaso con parte inferior roscada (7). MOTOR DE 350 WATTS Y BASE DEL MOTOR El poderoso motor de 350 watts es la parte principal del artefacto y est diseado slo para esta unidad. Se encuentra completamente dentro de la base (8). El motor cuenta con un dispositivo de flotacin libre para reducir el ruido y el desgaste. Esto permite que el poste que sobresale de la base del motor se mueva ligeramente de lado a lado. Podra ser posible que se sobrecargara el motor, para evitarlo siga todas las instrucciones.

LIMPIANDO SU LICUADORA
Las partes del vaso de la licuadora son resistentes a la corrosin, higinicas y fciles de limpiar, inclusive en el lavaplatos automtico. Antes de utilizarlo por primera vez y despus de cada uso, separe las partes del vaso y limpie con agua tibia y jabonosa, despus enjuague y seque bien. Revise peridicamente todas las partes antes de volver a ensamblar. Si la cuchilla est trabada o es difcil girarla, NO UTILICE LA LICUADORA. Revise cuidadosamente girando la cuchilla en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj (los bordes contrarios son filosos). La cuchilla debe girar libremente. Si el vaso est roto o astillado NO UTILICE LA LICUADORA. El usarla podra causar que el vaso se rompiera. Use solamente piezas de repuesto recomendadas por OSTER las cuales estn disponibles en un Centro De Servicio Autorizado. EL USO DE PARTES DAADAS O NO RECOMENDADAS PUEDE CAUSAR LESIONES PERSONALES Y/O DAOS SEVEROS A LA LICUADORA. Refirase a la seccin Ensamblando su Licuadora de este manual para un ensamblado correcto del vaso y las instrucciones de su uso. NUNCA SUMERJA LA BASE DEL MOTOR EN AGUA. La base puede ser limpiada con un trapo hmedo (desconecte primero). El motor est permanentemente lubricado y no requiere otra lubricacin adicional. JAR The jar (1) for the Blender is graduated for easy measurement and is molded of heat and cold resistant material. The convenient handle and pouring spout permit easy removal of liquid mixtures while thicker mixtures are more easily removed through the bottom opening.

COVER The cover for you Oster Blender consists of two parts, the plastic feeder cap (4) and the vinyl cover (3). The cover is self-sealing, and is made of vinyl, which is resistant to absorption of odors and stains. The feeder cap is removable for use as a measuring cup and provides an opening for the addition of other ingredients.

CARE AND CLEANING OF YOUR BLENDER

Blender jar, cover, feeder cap, sealing ring, blade and threaded jar bottom can be washed by hand or at a dishwasher. Before first use and after every use, separate container parts and clean thoroughly in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry well.
