Danielle Buckles Ms. Odom Bio Honors 8 October, 2012 I am a cell, and this is my story.

All throughout my life I have heard of a process called cell division, and it is finally my turn to divide. I am growing getting bigger and growing stronger, next my chromosomes are replicated. As I finish growing, I prepare for cell division. Finally it's times to divide. My chromosomes become visible in the middle of body and spindle starts to form in my centrioles. Next, the chromosomes line up in the middle of my body and spindle fibers attached to each chromosome. Then, the chromosomes separate and are pulled to opposite sides of my body. Now is the times I've waited so long for, my chromosomes are surround by new nuclear membranes and my body splits forming two cells. I've done it! I have divided into two cells, and now I can continue my life in this organism
