Salt production and processing

Kali & Salz, Sdsalz as well as the Schweizer Rheinsalinen are the most important salt suppliers Europe-wide and have been customers of Schenck Process for decades. Salt is processed in many ways in almost all industrial branches. In the food industry the largest portion of the table-salt production is used industrially and that for the production of, for instance, meat products, bread, and cheese.

Salt production In Germany solely rock salt deposits are of significance for the production of salt. For this field Schenck Process mainly supply beltweighers for the mass-flow acquisition during excavation.
