Guess My Word:

Players: 2 or more Materials: vocabulary cards and timer Directions: 1. Place all of your vocabulary cards upside down on the table. 2. The first player chooses a card without looking at it. He then holds the card up to his forehead with the word facing the other players. 3. Flip the timer over. 4. Teammates must give clues to help the first player guess the word without saying the actual word itself. For example, if the word is joke, teammates might say It is something funny that people tell you in order to make you laugh. Sometimes it starts with knock knock. 5. Once the word is guessed correctly pick up another card and repeat this again. Try to guess as many words as possible before the timer runs out. 6. If there are more than three players, divide into teams of two or three. Compete against the other teams to see which team can guess the most words before the time runs out.
