Rescheduling of your exam will only occur for legitimate conflicts. The course instructor will address conflicts on a case-by-case basis.

Homework:

There will be three (3) 50-point homework assignments throughout the semester. Homework assignments will be collected at 1:00 PM on the date due. To minimize aggravation of the grader(s), submit your work neatly on 8 x 11 paper with multiple sheets stapled together. Each day late that homework is submitted, 10% will be deducted from your earned points; the course instructor can wave this policy on a case-bycase basis. There will be five (5) 10-point bonus quizzes throughout the semester. These quizzes will be taken during the normal lecture time. If you feel a question has not been graded fairly, you can request a regrade. In order for it to be considered, you must request it within one (1) week of when your homework or examination was returned. We reserve the right to regrade the entire examination or homework assignment. Select course materials will be accessible through Blackboard. It is your responsibility to notify the instructor if you are unable to access Blackboard materials; this should not be done the day before assignments are due or examinations are taken. Any student eligible for changes in classroom and/or testing should discuss these changes with the instructor at minimum 3 days before an assignment is due or an examination is to be taken. Cheating (including plagiarism) will be punished as severely as allowed under University guidelines. See the Student Handbook and/or University Rules and Regulations.
