Development of Corporate Citizenship project

Project Directives
A study team from SP Jain Institute of Management comprising of following student Amit Jain, Ashita Fernandes, Shri Harsh and Varun Mathew will take up the following study under Mr. Rajesh Jogpal, Director Social Welfare. The area of study will comprise of Performance of Anganwadi centers in Chandigarh: An evaluation and recommendation to develop model center. Phase 1: Develop a survey form for evaluate the Anaganwadi on parameters of health, education and infrastructure. Phase 2: Visit to around 20% of the total Anaganwadi and gather information by interacting with Anaganwadi workers, children and their parents. The visit will be done by us in group of 2 in order to cover more Anganwadi in least possible time. Phase 3: Analyses of the data collected and benchmark it with other states or other programs run in different countries. Phase 4: Recommendation to improve the current system and propel the program towards new goals in the restructured ICDS i.e. to reduce the malnutrition children by 10%. Also suggestions to create Linkages to the community and how these can act as community link service outlets.

The team will make a written report and audio visual presentation of 15 minutes to the senior officials of the administration. Phase wise project completion timeline: Phase 1: 6th to 13th March Phase 2: 14Th March to 27th March Phase 3: 28th March to 3rd April Phase 4: 4th April to 7th April Presentation to the senior officials and submission of report on 10th April
