sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install l2tp-ipsec-vpn gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']" sudo shutdown -r now
1) Right click on the icon in the notification area and then go to Edit connections.
2) Authenticate as root.
4) IPsec configuration: Remote server: choose one of the server addresses that were provided to you. Use pre-shared key for authentication: use 12345678
PPP configuration: Select both CHAP and MS-CHAPv2 (or MS-CHAPv2 only, if youre having connection issues) authentication and enter the username and password provided to you. Click on OK
Connecting to the VPN: Go to the icon in the notification area and then click on the connection that youve just setup, wait for a couple of seconds and you must be connected to the VPN.
