TITLE SUMMARY

Third Party Production Support Specialist

Responsible for supporting Global Plus application within the IT System Support Group. JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. Support third party Applications assigned by the IT supervisor and IT manager within Global Plus primarily, but also BANCS corporate actions, MINT Swift Gateway and WorldLEnd securities lending. Address and resolve all reported internal Help Desk and Database Group Global Plus issues reported by New York Branch internal staff and head office. Communicates with the software vendor Customer Service Representative (CSR) to address and resolve application issues. Track and maintain Vendor/System Support Application issues and defects. Works with third party vendor contacts to handle day to day vendor-related issues. Provide daily monitoring and status report EOD to all of Branch and affiliate. Creates test plans and perform unit and regressions testing of returned software fixes. Performs release, maintenance, and patch testing. Trains staff in the use of core systems. Reviews requests for in-house Vision reports and extracts and supports programmers with Business Analysis, as appropriate. Reviews project requests for third party applications, assists with completing BRDs and interfaces with the IT budgeting process, as appropriate. Backs up the Database Group AVP responsible for the SWIFT gateway application for Bi-lateral Key Agreements. Participates in the implementation of bank projects in line with the banks strategic plans. Performs job responsibilities according to ITIL process guidelines. ITIL represents a broad framework of procedures, processes etc., which is preferable to have. Performs all duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate should have: 1. Bachelors degree or equivalent in business or information technology. 2. 5 plus years of Global Plus Production support experience 3. 5 plus years of experience in the custody or trust business 4. Knowledge of corporate action processing business knowledge of the application needed to support and enhance Global Plus 5. Knowledge of the securities lending business 6. Knowledge of SWIFT and SWIFT gateway applications preferred 7. Excellent oral and written communication skills 8. Experience with business analysis 9. Experience with project management 10. Basic knowledge of IT hardware and infrastructure 11. Familiarity with Vision Programming language (report output, not necessarily programming). Preferred experience: 1. Hands on experience with TCS BANCS 2. Hands on experience with SunGards WorldLend or similar securities lending application
