Move mouse to Tools When a submenu appears move mouse to Options and left single click

Chrome is a Web Browser similar to Internet Explorer (IE) It is a tabbed browser, like Internet Explorer It is smaller and faster than IE It allows Extensions

Which add to the features available Which slow down Chrome Malicious code, targeted towards IE, will be ignored by Chrome

It processes web pages differently than IE

Getting Chrome
Turn off your monitor!

Downloading Chrome

Open your browser


In the address bar type www.google.com/chrome Click on the Download Google Chrome button

Click on Accept and Install If you get a Security/UAC Popup Select Run

When download is complete


Chrome Will Install Automatically Chrome Will Start Automatically Uncheck Make Chrome your default browser Click on Start Google Chrome

Setting Up Chrome

Click on the Wrench (Upper Right hand corner), Select Settings

Scroll down to Downloads


Select Browse Scroll up to Desktop

To Modify the way an add-on works


Click

on Tools/Extensions Right Click on an add-on and select Options

Each time Chrome loads it will check for updates to itself and all your Extensions.
If

you have a lot of Extensions, this may slow down time to start Chrome

+ Middle Mouse Wheel Control + or Control Control 0 resets size

If you are viewing a secure/encrypted site, a padlock appears at the extreme right of the address bar
