A.
Groups are subsystems of a larger system & therefore, groups behaviour is extracted from the organization to which it belongs. (i) Organization Strategy The strategy the organization pursues influence the power of various work groups ii) Authority Structure Defines who reports to whom, who makes decisions, & what decisions individuals or group are empowered to make. (iii) Formal Regulations Rules, procedures, policies, job descriptions & other forms of regulations to standardize employee behaviour. (iv) Human Resource Selection Process (v) Performance Evaluation & Reward System (vi) Organization Culture (vii) Physical work setting influence the work group.
