LEONARDO DA VINCIS BIOGRAPHY

Leonardo Da Vinci was born on April 15 in Tuscany, Vinci on 1452 and he died at Clos Luc, on May 2, 1519, in Amboise, Touraine. Leonardo da Vinci was the illegitimate son of a Florentine lawyer, who did not allow his to meet his mother, a modest farmer. Leonardo Da Vinci was painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer Italian. He represents the most perfect model of the Renaissance man. Leonardo was educated as an artist in Florence in the workshop of Andrea Verrocchio, but his career developed in other Italian cities such as Milan and Rome. He worked for Giulio de Medici and Duke Ludovico Sforza. Leonardo da Vincis paintings are recognize in the history of art, because him twenty preserved paintings, as the Gioconda or Mona Lisa, The Annunciation, The Virgin of the Rocks, The Lord's Supper, The Virgin and Santa Ana, The Adoration of the Magi, Portrait of Geneva Benzi; are very important around the world . He was interested by all branches of knowledge; for example in the music or literature. He said that should not be separate art and science, for example as in his human anatomy investigation; in zoology with particular attention to the mechanisms of flight of birds and insects, in geology with him observations on the origin of fossils, in the astronomy and physics or engineering. Leonardo talents was important at his time. Also, he designed many machines as the gadgets navigation; flying machines, such as the helicopter; war machines such as a portable bridge and a war tank for twentieth century; and machine tools, such as a spinner, a laminator, a dredge or cutter screws. However, the genius of Leonardo began many projects that he never finished. But, he had influence on the progress of the various fields, for example in the investigation, anatomy, and especially in different inventions that were base for futures inventions and inventors.
