The early spring morning came unannounced. The grass drenched with its sweat.

Dark silhouettes of evergreen trees stood bases for the soldiers of the morning. The fog crept up from behind, no one knowing what hit them as they are swallowed with its gray mouth. The birds cawed maniacally as they tried to run away from their prison of the never-ending mist. The palm trees wrestled to find their souls in the darkness, looking for the light it was made for. The clock struck another hour, getting impatient for the master of the day to claim its name. Sparrows chirped in admonishment through the dingy atmosphere. The vivid flowers once so bright and beautiful were now so fake and plastic. A silent call sliced through the air, a call to let the world free.
