Stone Pelting: A Way to Ruin Kashmir

As a Kashmiri, do you want you and your children to be safe? Are you not able to give your children an education because schools are closed because of stone pelting? Do you have to shut down your shops so stone pelting will not ruin your things? Although one might be fighting for rights, stone pelting can ruin your life. First of all, schools and business will be injured. Another reason is that it can kill innocent lives. Finally, violence is not the most efficient way to resolve conflicts. Stone pelters might be trying to use resources; however, economy gets wounded. Stone pelters fight for freedom, but the day-to-day economy will suffer. Children will not get the necessary education. As a result they will not be offered jobs. Businesses will be few. Stone pelting will ruin the stores products so they have to be shut down. This will result in drastic decrease in the economy. Local vendors will be banished and they will have no source of livelihood. As Roohi Jalali, a homemaker who has witnessed the stone pelting in Kashmir, says, When the cream of the society goes, the society suffers. Cast and creed will be united while stone pelting for their rights; however, innocent lives will be lost. Most people believe that while stone pelting, Kashmiris get united. Truthfully, families will be broken, as people will be killed during stone pelting. Families will be drowned in grief. It is a brutal and an uncivilized way to

die. Youthful children who have a many opportunities ahead them will die unceremoniously. Their entire future will be lost. Ambitions and dreams will pass on with them. Kashmirs entire economy relies on the youths, as they are the new generation. It will be an unfortunate loss. Even though police are present, they are the ones who are being aimed for. Many people believe that there is no other way to change the current situation. In reality, violence is not the way to solve things. International figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. are models that have shown us that problems can be solved by nonviolence. They both lead peaceful protests and boycotts. The valley stone is hurting everyone in the country. It is creating a thud. Some are questioning why nurture the stone at all. Some want the stone to be thrown away, and some want to maraud the stone. There are a variety of expressions for the pelting concept but the one underlying faith is that no one is going anywhere. Without a doubt, stone pelting is the last option you should use. Stone pelters are gaining rights; however, it is clearly not the correct solution. Firstly, economy suffers. Second of all, guiltless lives will be lost. Lastly, these issues can be solved by ways other than violence. Now, go out there and encourage stone pelting to stop. Try to connect with people and be the savior of Kashmir.
