    Franklin College Checklist

    What should I bring with me???

    Bedding

    Study Space

    The mattresses at FC are Twin XL Comforter/Duvet Sheets (2 pair) Mattress topper Blanket/throw Alarm clock (dont rely on your phone!)
    ((If you are lofting your bed in Elsey Hall, you may want to bring a ladder.))

    Pens and pencils Notebooks Calculator Desk lamp Computer USB drive Calendar/Planner Stapler Paper clips Printer (optional)

    Shower

    Shampoo/Conditioner Body wash/soap Shower caddy/tote (be sure it can drain water) Shower sponge/washcloth Toothbrush / Toothpaste Hair dryer/ straightner/ curling iron Shower shoes/flip flops Several towels Robe Hairbrush Razor

    Just in Case

    Umbrella Rainboots Rainjacket Winter boots Fan First aid kit Batteries Flashlight Medicines Small toolkit Pocket sewing kit Iron and ironing board Febreeze or room fragrance

    Laundry

    The laundry at FC is free, so you wont need quarters. Heres what you will need: Laundry detergent Laundry Basket (breathable so it wont smell) Dryer sheets Hangers Stain remover

    Other Items

    Refrigerator Microwave Coffee pot (must have auto shut-off) Futon/Couch Chairs/Bean bag Rugs/ Remnant carpet TV and cable cord You may want to discuss these items with your roommate to decide who is bringing what, so you dont have duplicates!

    TIP:

    Its a good idea to bring at least one business casual outfit for presentations, special events, interviews, etc.
