Dotted Letters (Beis and Veis) Review Sheet

By Ari Blum
Grade Level: Early Elementary Description: This worksheet provides reinforcement of the differences between the dotted letters-specifically the beis and the veis. There are listings of various words, some real and others just phoentic, that all have different combinations of beis and veis. Goals/Objectives: Students will differentiate between a dotted beis and a veis when reading the words to help reinforce recognition. Instructions: 1. Read the word and then ask the children to repeat it. 2. Then ask the children to pick out words at random to read on their own. Variation: Make this exercise more visual and tactile by having the child put little round stickers on every dot in a beis.
