To be eligible for REF funding, applicants must be: A refugee, protected person or being who has been sponsored by a refugee or secluded person, and be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident. Have an English level at Elementary 1 or higher the support will cover the route fees only. Grant recipients must buy a primer if their direction uses one. Grant recipients can access this funding for up to three years. Continued access is not guaranteed it will depend on the study record and on availability of funds.

At the end of the programme, you'll be awarded a Certificate in English at the highest stage completed, and will be ready to take on further study or a job. If you complete the Certificate in English (Intermediate), you'll also meet the English language entry requirements for our Diploma in English (Advanced).
