Keynote Speakers
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17 | 7:45 am Obesity in America from the Dietary Counselor and Lifestyle Coach from The Biggest Loser
Michael Dansinger, MD Nutrition doctor for NBCs hit primetime series The Biggest Loser, Diabetes Doctor for WebMD, and Director of the Diabetes Reversal Program at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Dr Dansinger will share his insights and opinions about the global obesity epidemic, the USDA food pyramid, popular weight loss diets, reality weight loss shows, losing 100 pounds in 100 days, obesity surgery, reversing type 2 diabetes, how to feed your children, and what to do about decadent mouth-watering quadruplelayer chocolate molten-lava fudge cake.
Drs Christine and Thomas Sinsky will discuss innovations that you can use right now in your practice to improve your own satisfaction in your practice and advance the quality of the care you provide to your patients. They will outline the innovations in primary care they personally discovered by visiting 23 high functioning practices as part of a primary care project for the American Board of Internal Medicine.
*The following organization has provided an educational grant in support of the Keynote Session: Lilly USA, LLC
This presentation will look at your patient as a mission, with a very critical outcome, and how to get that mission right the first time and every time. Dr Musgrave will give a dramatic multimedia presentation composed of real life scenarios that illustrate lessons and principles relevant and applicable to frontline patient care. Dr Musgrave has lived such scenarios. He teaches that the principles extracted from experiences can be clear and comprehensible and that, once accepted and embraced, can lead to effective action.
