THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG

SUMMARY OF THE STORY

The Princess and The Frog told us a story about the youngest daughter of a king who had accidentally made a promise to a frog. It happened when the frog had helped the princess to save her favourite golden ball that had fallen into the pond. The frog asked the princess to be his bestfriend and looked after him in the palace. Unfortunately, the princess did not want to. She ran away to her palace without realizing that the frog had followed her. The King knew about it and asked the princess to fulfil her promise. Eventually they became best friend and out of sudden the frog had turned into a handsome prince. Actually, the prince had been curse and the only way to break the curse is by being friend with a beautiful princess. So, in the end, they got married and lived happily ever after.

PLOT OF THE STORY

INTRODUCTIO N The frog had helped the princess to save her favourite golden ball that had fallen into the pond. RISING ACTION The frog asked the princess to fulfil her promise to be his best-friend and to look after him. CLIMAX He followed the princess until the palace because the princess ran away from him.

RESOLUTION The frog had turned into a handsome prince and they got married and lived happily ever after.

FALLING ACTION The king asked the princess to fulfil her promise. The princess and the frog become best-friend.
