Annual Population Growth Rate by Barangay, BLISTT

Population has been growing fast in the mining areas of Itogon and Tuba from 1980-1990, but this suddenly declined between 1990-2000 especially for the Barangays of Ampucao, Ucab, Gumatdang, Poblacion and Tuding in Itogon and Ansagan, Poblacion and Camp 3 in Tuba. Meanwhile, the population in Baranga Alno, Bineng, Wangal and Alapang in La Trinidad have been growing fast betwe 1990-2000.

Annual Population Growth Rate by Barangay, BLISTT

For the period 2000-2007, Twin Peaks in Tuba and Wangal in La Trinidad reached a high population growth rate from 9.1% to 15%. This is followed by Balluay in Sablan, Caponga and Daclan in Tublay, and Tadiangan, Poblacion and Taloy Norte in Tuba.

BLISTT is endowed with numerous water bodies which may be developed for water supply, agriculture-use, agri-industry, ecotourism, water-based power, etc.
