Seminar 4: Understanding race, ethnicity and ageing through policy and practice In collaboration with The Runnymede Trust

The aim of this seminar is to focus on engaging with key policy makers and practitioners in the field of ageing, race and ethnicity and to offer a critique of current policy debates from a black and ethnic minority perspective. The seminar also aims to engage with those training health & social care professionals to consider the challenges of developing cultural competent health and social care. Speakers confirmed are Dr. Omar Khan (The Runnymede Trust), Dr Jo Moriarty (Kings College, University of London), Dr Karan Jutlla (Worcester University).
