THE TRAVELERS AND THE PLANE TREE

Two men were walking along one summer day. Soon it became too hot to go any further and, seeing a large plane tree nearby, they threw themselves on the ground to rest in its shade. Wow! Isnt it a beautiful place?,One man said to other, Yes, its The other replied .Gazing up into the branches one man said to the other: What a useless tree this is. It does not have fruit like apple or nuts that we can eat and we cannot even use its wood for anything. Dont be so ungrateful, the tree replied. I am being extremely useful to you at this very moment, giving you a shade and protecting you from the hot sun and you call me a good-for-nothing! Dont be so ungrateful to God. The man realized that:

All of Gods creations have a good purpose.

MORAL:

Islam teaches us that we should never put down Allahs blessings.

LEARN FROM MISTAKES

Do you know who was Thomas Edison? He was a scientist who invented bulb which gives us light. Do you want to learn Moral from his real life story? If yes, then read it out! Thomas Edison tried two thousand different materials in search of a thread for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactorily, his assistant complained, All our work is in vain. We have learned nothing. Edison replied very confidently, Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We now know that there are two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb.

Moral:

Always learn from the mistake. Dont think that all the mistakes you did are wrong. Mistakes are the part of learning.
DON'T CHANGE THE WORLD

One day long ago, some sailors set out to sea in their sailing ship. One of them brought his pet monkey along for the long journey. When they were far out at sea, a terrible storm inverted their ship. Everyone fell into the sea, and the monkey was sure that he would sink. Suddenly a dolphin appeared and picked him up. They soon reached the Island and the monkey came down from the dolphins back. The dolphin asked the monkey, Do you know this place? The monkey replied, Yes, I do. In fact, the king of the Island is my best friend. Do you know that I am actually a prince? Knowing that no one lived on the Island, the dolphin said, Well, well, so you are a prince! Now you can be a king!

The monkey asked, How can I be a king? As the dolphin started swimming away, he answered, That is easy. As you are the only creature on this Island, you will naturally be the king!

THE FOX AND THE STORK

A selfish fox once invited a stork to dinner at his home in a hollow tree. That evening, the stork flew to the foxs home and knocked on the door with her long beak. The fox opened the door and said, Please come in and share my food. The stork was invited to sit down at the table. She was very hungry and the food smelled delicious! The fox served soup in shallow bowls and he licked up all his soup very quickly. However, the stork could not have any of it as the bowl was too shallow for her long beak. The poor stork just smiled politely and stayed hungry. The selfish fox asked, Stork, why havent you taken your soup? Dont you like it? The stork replied, It was very kind of you to invite me for dinner. Tomorrow evening, please join me for dinner at my home. The next day, when the fox arrived at the storks home, he saw that they were also having soup for dinner. This

time the soup was served in tall jugs. The stork drank the soup easily but the fox could not reach inside the tall jug. This time it was his turn to go hungry.

Moral: A selfish act can backfire on you.

THE BOY WHO CRIED 'WOLF'

Bachaooo! Bachaoo! Have you ever shouted like this to make others fool? If no, then you all are good children, but If you have done that so far, then never do this again. Lets read It out that what this story wants to tell you about the result of being a liar. Once there was a shepherd boy who had to look after a flock of sheep. One day, he felt bored and decided to play a trick on the villagers. He shouted, Help! Wolf! Wolf! The villagers heard his cries and rushed out of the village to help the shepherd boy. When they reached him, they asked, Where is the wolf?

The shepherd boy laughed loudly, Ha, Ha, Ha! I fooled all of you. I was only playing a trick on you. A few days later, the shepherd boy played this trick again. Again he cried, Help! Help! Wolf! Wolf! Again, the villagers rushed up the hill to help him and again they found that boy had tricked them. They were very angry with him for being so naughty. Then, some time later, a wolf went into the field. The wolf attacked one sheep, and then another and another. The shepherd boy ran towards the village shouting, Help! Help! Wolf! Help! Somebody! The villagers heard his cries but they laughed because they thought it was another trick. The boy ran to the nearest villager and said, A wolf is attacking the sheep. I lied before, but this time it is true! Finally, the villagers went to look. It was true. They could see the wolf running away and many dead sheep lying on the grass. So sad, isnt it. So next time never lie,OK.

Moral
We may not believe someone who often tells lies, even when he tells the truth. So we should always speak truth and never lie.

POEM

God Loves Those Who Are Truthful, He Create Us So Beautiful; But If We Lie, It Would Not Be Fine, Always Be True, Be Bright Like Sunshine. So All Of You Be Sure What I Said , Be Truthful, This Message Should Be Spread . Penned By: Munir Moosa

THE ANT AND THE DOVE

One hot day, an ant was searching for some water. After walking around for some time, she came to a spring. To reach the spring, she had to climb up a blade of grass. While making her way up, she slipped and fell into the water. She could have drowned if a dove up a nearby tree had not seen her. Seeing that the ant was in trouble, the dove quickly plucked off a leaf and dropped it into the water near the struggling ant. The ant moved towards the leaf and climbed up there. Soon it carried her safely to dry ground. Just at that time,

a hunter nearby was throwing out his net towards the dove, hoping to trap it. Guessing what he was about to do, the ant quickly bit him on the heel. Feeling the pain, the hunter dropped his net. The dove was quick to fly away to safety.

MORAL: If you will do good and think good for others, then GOD would always help you ,
TELLING THE TRUTH
Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourselves from lots of trouble! Here is the story of a man, who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him. This is a true story, so read it carefully. Once a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and said, "Oh Prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?" The Prophet said, "Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth." The man promised to do so and went home. At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the Prophet. "If tomorrow the Prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing." So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit. Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, "What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine." And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.

In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person.

MORAL: Make a promise: I shall always speak the truth.

HOLY PROPHET (PBUH) - THE MODEL OF GOODNESS

Do you know that who is my favourite personality? Well, Its none other than our beloved Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH).The personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best examples to follow in our Life. Although Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was the Prophet of Allah and had been appointed by Allah to guide the people, yet he was not ashamed of doing his work with his own hands. He assisted the members of his family in household work and performed the jobs of other persons with great pleasure. He mended his clothes and shoes. He also took part in the construction of Masjid-al-Nabi in Medina along with his companions. His dress was always clean, though simple. He was very mindful of cleanliness. He washed his hands and mouth before and after taking his meals. He was so kind and generous that he never refused any person who ask him for any help. He often distributed food among others and went without meals himself. He always helped the needy and the poor and went to the houses of the sick to enquire after their health.

Whenever he met anyone, he greets them with smile.

MORAL: The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a model for all of us. We can learn a lot of lessons from his life. He is the super hero of Muslims because, he possessed the noblest character.

RESPECT YOUR PARENTS

No more trunk for you to climb on. I am too old for that now the man said. I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots, the tree said with tears. I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years, the man replied. Good! Old tree roots are the best place to bend on and rest, come sit down with me and rest. The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

MORAL:
This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum

and Dad. When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy. You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted; we dont appreciate all they do for us, until its too late.So pray to God to Forgive you and guide you.

MENTALLY RETARDED!

A few years ago, at the Special Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, gathered at the starting line for the 100 metre race.

At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a track but with a enjoy to run the race to the finish and win. All, that is, except one little boy who slipped on the blacktop, fell over a couple of times, and began to cry. The other eight heard the boy cry. They slowed down and looked back. Then they all turned around and went back.....every one of them. One girl with Downs syndrome bent down and kissed him and said, This will make it better. Then all nine linked arms and walked together to the finish line. Everyone in the stadium stood, and the cheering went on for several minutes.

MORAL:
Help others. Let other also win.If any one needs your help, go forward and help them.If any one seeks your advice, give them. If any one loses, encourage them and give them courage. Be humble, never be proud because, ALLAH loves those who treat every one equally.
Pray
Oh God! Give Us The Courage To Help Others. Make Us A Good Person. Always Be With Us.

Oh God! Give Us Clean Thoughts And Save Us From Habits Which Could Harm Us. Oh God! Always Shower Your Blessings Upon Us. Guide Us On The Right Path. Oh God! Give Us The Courage To Be Humble And Polite. Please God! Remove All Worries and Sorrows From This World. Oh God! Please Forgive Our mistakes. We Promise That We Will Always Help Our Parents And Would Try To Help Others too. (By: Munir Moosa)

SPECIALLY WRITTEN BY MUNIR SIR

Once, Salima failed in her examination. She was scared that, how would she tell this news to her family. She usually fails in her class examination because she always think that she is not a bright student. She always blame and hate herself for being a slow student in her class. She never participated in any activities. On that day she was waiting for her papa to tell her the result. When her father finally arrived, she exchanged many hugs and kisses

as she could possibly give in one day. Her father took a good look at her. Then he sat her down on his lap and said something that Salima will never forget. He looked her straight in the eyes and said, Everything that God made valuable in the world is hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. Youve got to work hard to get to them. He looked at her with serious eyes. Youre far more precious than diamonds and pearls. If you fail ; never lose hope. Be confident. Explore the hidden talent which you have. Compete with others and do not blame yourself. Be confident and Prove Yourself.

MORAl: YOU ARE PRECIOUS LIKE A GEM. DONT BLAME YOURSELF. JUST WORK HARD AND BE CONFIDENT.

VALUE OF HUMAN BEING

SPECIALLY WRITTEN BY MUNIR SIR

If I ask any one that who want hundred rupee ,Who would like to have it?, I guess every one of you. If I crease up this 100 rupees and then I ask who still wants it? I guess you all would. If I dropped this hundred rupees on the ground and then start to grind it with the shoe, who would like to have this dirty note now?

I guess every one, but if I tore this hundred rupees note into few pieces, even then, everybody would like to have it. Isnt it! My sweet children, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what was done to the money, it was still wanted because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth 100 Rupee. In the same manners, if you have rich friends, you would always want to be with them, but if they are poor, you might not accept them. if they are handicapped, even then. The question is, What would you do? Would you like to insult them? Would you love to hurt them? Never!!!!!! They are also your friend. Its your duty that If they are poor, help them! If they are handicapped, give them your hand of friendship, because They all are precious like a hundred rupee note. They are also valuable and equal.

MORAL: ALL ARE EQUAL AND PRECIOUS.

PLURALISM

Once, a new child got his admission in my class. He was from Afghanistan. When all the students saw him, they started hitting him and made faces as if, they had not liked him. Few of the students complained that he is a dirty boy. Few of the

students even dont want to sit with him. One of the brilliant student of my class complained, Munir sir, this boy stinks, he has no proper clothes and smell comes from his clothes I had one idea. I told all of the students that tomorrow I will tell you the solution. The next day when I came to the class, that student was sitting at the back. One of the student who was sitting just besides me said, Munir sir, your socks are torn from one side Another student told me that my shirt is torn from the sleeves. I said, Oh god! I didnt know this thing; What should I do now? I think Its better to leave the class because I have torn shirt and socks and I guess you all would not like it As all the students adores me more than others, they finally told me not to leave the class. One of the student said to me, Munir Sir, so what! if your shirt sleeve is torn from one side. You must not leave the class at all. I said, My dear students, In the same manner, this new student have worn torn clothe, smell comes from his clothe, but is it wise enough to throw him out of the class or tell him not to come to school from the next day. He is also human and ALLAH always guide us to help every one. If any of your brother is in need, Its our duty to help him. He is like your brother . All the students realized and felt sorry for their harsh behavior. They all shook hand with that student and the very next day, the students brought old clothes, books etc for him. I still remember that one of the students even brought soap, and taught him how to clean face and hands properly.

Moral:

We all are human isnt it! Its our duty not to hurt any one. Its also our duty that if we find any poor child, we should help him and treat every one equally.
