Organizational back ground Community Partners International (CPI)/ Friends for Health (FFH) works with local organizations to increase their capacity to deliver essential health services in Myanmars underserved and at-risk populations. CPI has 15 years experience building the skills and resources of local partners (including faith-based organizations, local NGOs, community based organizations and ethnic health organizations). Currently, CPI partners deliver medical care and preventive health services to more than one million people in Myanmar. CPIs Community Leader Eliminating Artemisinin Resistance Malaria Project CLEAR-Malaria Project will be launching by 3MDG Fund. The proposed target areas for this project coincides with our partners strongest and longest standing networks, which are in the hardest-to-reach rural, remote, displaced/mobile, and border regions that have the highest malaria burden. This position is proposed for the efficient contribution of program related activities for the above mentioned project. Responsibilities: 1. Contributing the planning and designing for 3MDG funded CPI project under the supervision of the Program Manager (Infectious Disease) and project director. 2. Conducting trainings and assisting the curriculum developments for the CPIs local partners. 3. Ensuring that the relevant information is shared/ communicated between CPI and Local partners for timely project execution and reporting. 4. Facilitating the report preparation and collecting, compiling and analyzing the regular reports of CPIs local partners. 5. Assisting Program Manager (Infectious Disease) for preparing donors reports and CPI project reports. 6. Providing technical support to the local partners for the efficient implementation of the project activities. 7. Establish rapport with CPIs local partners by promoting close relationship with the program stakeholders. 8. Conducting field visits, training visits and monitoring & supervision, in Kachin, Kayin, Kayah, Mon States and Tanintharyi Region. 9. Assisting the development of M&E tools and logical framework in collaboration with M&E coordinator/officer. 10. Representing CPI in the technical meetings conducted by 3MDG or other partner organizations. 11. Participating in the assessment, survey and research conducted by CPIs partners (if necessary). 12. Assisting the procurement estimation & tracking in collaboration with the procurement officer. 1

13. Carrying out all duties having due regard for the health, safety of yourself and others, in accordance with CPI policies. 14. Carrying out the duties in a manner of promoting equity and showing due respect for all CPIs local partners by understanding their norms culture and local context. 15. Other duties as may be assigned by the Program Managers/Coordinators. Requirements: University degree in Health or Public health related. (Medical doctor or nurse preferred) Minimum 3years practical experience in health projects/similar position in an international organization. Demonstrated skills in health worker training, planning, monitoring and evaluation. Proven experiences and strong knowledge on malaria project Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds; Ability to work independently and to undertake regular field visits including hard-to-reach areas. Good presentation skills, writing and analytical skills; with fluency on both written and spoken English. Excellent software skills for MS Word, Excel, Power point (statistical software preferred).
