    Shame is self-loathing that flows from believing that you are an unworthy person. It is a powerful driver of sexually addictive behaviours. We men, because of the way we are wired, often feel shame for the wrong reasons. We can feel shame over what is a perfectly natural response to stimuli, and we can suffer self-condemnation, which only serves to deepen our feelings of shame.
