0 Remove the canard cover panel from fuselage as per drawing 5310D08 Issue 6 Canard Cover Panel Construction and Assembly Remove the firewall bulkhead as per drawing 530A501 XXXX-Rev brapa, sheet brapa Remove canard from fuselage as per drawing 5310D07 Rev 6 Fuselage Canard Attachment. CANARD INSTALLATION 1.0 2.0 Cut away the fuselage flange (cowling attachment area) for access during installation. Position and secure canard into assembly jig cradles. Ensure fuselage is also located and secured correctly. Locate engine mounts in floor assembly jig to hold them in the correct positions during canard tie-in according to drawing 5310D07 Rev 6. 3.0 4.0 5.0 6.0 Mix QVP thixolglue between the canard and the fuselage (Refer Error: Reference source not found Stage 1). Form a 0.10 thixoglue radius. Leave the entire glue to cure for a minimum period of 2 hours. Prepare area for bonding as per EPS 04-014 for initial lay-up. Apply the connection plies attaching the canard main spar to fuselage according to drawing 5310D07 rev 6. Place peel ply over the wet area to ensure a smooth surface finish. 7.0 8.0 Leave the entire lay-up to cure for XXXXX (time and tenpt) Bond bulkheads into position. Trim the canard attachment bulkheads to match the contour of the fuselage skin and longerons (refer to drawing 5310D07 Rev 6). 9.0 10.0 Prepare area for bonding as per EPS 04-014 for bulkheads bonding. Bond bulkheads to fuselage with Thixoglue. (Refer to drawing 5310D07 Rev 6)

Build up two thixoglue radii on the lower edge of the forward face of the main spar according to drawing 5310D07 Rev 6. Leave the entire glue to cure for a minimum period of two hours. Prepare area for bonding as per EPS 04-014 for bulkheads lay-up. Lay-up the bulkheads as per drawing 5310D07 Rev 6. Place peel ply to all wet surfaces to ensure a smooth surface finish. Leave the entire lay-up to cure for a minimum period of 4 hours at XXX(trmpt). Invert the fuselage in the proper support jig. Prepare area for bonding as per EPS 04-014 for roving lay-up. Lay-up the roving as per drawing 5310D07 Rev 6. Leave the entire lay-up to cure for a minimum period of 12 hours at XX. A(trmpt) Prepare area for bonding as per EPS 04-014 for Thixoglue filler. Apply Thixoglue to edges of roving to create a smooth lay-up surface for the final lay-ups as per drawing 5310D07 Rev 6 Leave the glue to cure for a minimum period of 2 hours at XX

17. Prepare area for bonding as per 04-014 for final lay-up. 18. Lay-up the final tie-in plies as per Error: Reference source not found STAGE 7. 19. Leave the entire lay-up to cure for a minimum period of 4 hours xxx tempt. 20. Trim the bulkhead flanges as per Error: Reference source not found FLAG NOTE 6. 21. Return the fuselage to upright position. 22. QC to inspect.
