Alphabetizing – the reading skill of arranging letters, words or names


following the sequence of the letters in the alphabet.

Steps to follow in Alphabetizing:

1. Read the group of letters, words or names.

2. Look at the beginning letter of each.

3. Number the given items according to the sequence of the letters


in the alphabet.
