Pakistan Culture
National Flag
The National flag of Pakistan is dark green in color with a white vertical bar, a white crescent in the centre and a five pointed star. Green color signifies Muslim majority of Pakistan while white signifies religious minorities. The crescent represents progress and white five-pointed star represents light and knowledge.

National Game Hockey


Hockey is the national game of Pakistan. It is a sport in which two teams compete by trying to maneuver a ball into the opponent's net or goal, using a hockey stick.

State Emblem
The state emblem of Pakistan was approved by the Central Government in 1954 and is used on all Government stationary and documents. The Emblem symbolizes Pakistan's ideological foundation, its cultural heritage, the guiding principles and the basis of its economic strength

National Dress Shalwar Qameez


Shalwar Qameez is the national dress of Pakistan. People from all four provinces of Pakistan wear Shalwar Qameez

National Juice - Sugar cane


Sugarcane juice is the national juice of Pakistan. It is called raw locally.

Cultural Food
Pakistani food is LASSI, milk from which curds and butterfat have been removed. Vegetables, usually seasonal, lentils are commonly used. Families with larger incomes eat more meat, eggs and fruits. And the more affluent cook with GHEE, which is clarified butter, instead of with vegetable oil.

Bassant
With the advent of spring Basant Festival is celebrated with pomp and show in mid February every year in Lahore. In other words this is the spring festival.
