Use Visual Graphic Organizers with Picture Icons to Represent Key Aspects and Sentence Starters to Talk About Aspects of: What Things Are Used For, Where Objects Are Usually Found, Important Parts of Objects, and Category Group Object Belongs . Give student a warning their speaking turn will be coming up so they have extra time to formulate their answer. Comparing/Contrasting Vocabulary: Using Visual Graphic Organizers like that used for Defining along with the Venn Diagram. Facilitate the use of both when comparing, use of specific word labels rather than words like one or thingy. Also facilitate discussion of both objects during this task rather than just one. Talking About News Events: Use a Visual Graphic that has a picture icons reminding child of what different Wh and How Question types answer. Also encouraging use f organizing words like: First/Next/Then/Finally
