FINAL EXAM (emphasizes chapters 8,9,10)

NOTE 1. Exercise sets must be submitted in class, to the TA-box, or directly to a TA.
Please, NEVER to the professor in person, under his door, etc.
NOTE 2. Try to DO the individual exercises within 24 hours of the class in which the related
material appears, i.e., long before the due date for the set.
NOTE 3. For almost every even-numbered exercise in the text, there is a similar odd-numbered
problem, whose UNOFFICIAL solution is given in detail in the student guide. Although most of these
solutions are correct, some are not.
NOTE 4. Most of the exercises for Chapters 1 and 2 are well below the level expected on an exam.
The bold-faced exercise are within range of exam difficulty.
