Orion, the Great Hunter Have you ever seen a hunter in the night sky? Orion, the great hunter was going to hunt one day when he ran into Artemis. Artemis asked if she could hunt with him, and he agreed. By the end of the day, Artemis was very impressed with his hunting skills. This made Orion very happy. He decided to hunt every animal he saw to try to impress Artemis more. When Artemis saw all the dead animals, she was horrified, and she punished people who hunted more than they could eat. In anger, Artemis had a scorpion come out of the ground to kill him. Zeus put Orion in the sky so everyone could remember his great hunting. Next time you are looking at the stars, if you look close enough, you can see Orion, the Great Hunter.
