A young man who has lost a leg to cancer has said he wants to marry his fiance before his condition gets worse. Liam Thompson, 22, of Broughton, is currently undergoing his third and final round of chemotherapy, but has been told by doctors that if the treatment does not work, there is nothing more they can do. He does not know how long he has to live and has revealed he wants to wed fiance Alice Faulkner, 21, as soon as he can. I was devastated when they told me I had cancer, he said.
