Welcome Back Chiefs! This year Craigmont High will revel with a shot of literacy at the all new Well-Read Chiefs Book Bar in the Well-Read Chiefs Cafe Serving up Literacy Lattes all day, Craigmont High Library. The reading Happy Hour is every Tues. 2:30-3:30.

5-27 Library Orientation 11 Well-Read Chiefs, Book Club Overview Well-Read Chiefs! Are You interested in joining the Well-Read Chiefs' Book Club? If so, please meet in the library Tues. Sept. 11th at 2:30 to learn more about the book club and reading and blogging for a free book. Well-Read Chiefs Book Club will meet to discuss Orange is the New Pink, by Nina Black, Library, Tues. 2:30-3:15. Several members of Ladies
Club at Craigmont High have already received this free book and will be discussing it at our first meeting.

The Faculty and Staff of the Well-Read Chiefs are reading Black Students. Middle Class Teachers., by Jawanza Kunjufu a discussion on the racy title will be Wed. September 26, 2012 during faculty meeting.

September 30 October 6, 2012 Banned Books Week - Celebrating the Freedom to Read is observed during the last week of September each year. Observed since 1982, the annual event reminds Americans not to take this precious democratic freedom for granted.

Come visit your school library. We have 211 new books and a variety of titles for you to choose from. Tune into Channel 1 Daily @ 8:00 AM for Current Events (Great Topics for BellWork & Getting Started Activities). We have a new laminator.
