2012 JUNIOR SHOW ESSAY GUIDELINES AND TOPICS

This is the information you will need to compete in the essay component of the 2012 Maritime Fall Fair Junior Show. PLEASE E-MAIL ALL ENTRIES DIRECTLY TO dvlbusiness@eastlink.ca with a c.c to windcrest.farm@ns.sympatico.ca DvL Publishing Inc. is sole sponsor for the essay competition and will be evaluating your submission but I would like to also have a copy for the record keeping/calculation part of the total junior show event. ESSAYS MUST BE RECEIVED BY September 28, 2012 !!!! JUNIOR CATEGORY (12 YEARS OLD AND YOUNGER)-essay should be between 300 and 500 words. TOPIC-Where do you see yourself in the Agricultural Field in ten years time ?

INTERMEDIATE CATEGORY (13-16 YEARS OLD)-essay should be between 500 and 750 words. TOPIC-Cattle Shows and Exhibitions-Why do you participate and What Future do you see for These Events?

SENIOR CATEGORY (17 -21 YEARS)-essay should be a minimum of 1000 words. Topic-Grass fed Beef-Will this be the Salvation of the Maritime Beef Industry ? ************************************************************************************ Please remember all ages are as of January 1, 2012. Essays become the property of DvL Publishing Inc. and they may publish some of the essays in their publications.

Only juniors who participate in the Essay Competition will be considered for the TOP OVERALL WINNER of the 2012 Maritime Fall Fair Junior Show
