Countable Nouns and Uncountable Nouns

In order to understand what a countable and uncountable noun is, we must first understand what a noun is. A noun is a person, place, thing, idea, or emotion. If we look further into nouns, we find other types of nouns such as common nouns, proper nouns, countable nouns, and uncountable (non-count) nouns. Lets look at the charts below.
