Dear Chainnan Obey and Ranking Member Lewis.

I am requesting funding for police technology upgrades.

The entity to receive funding forth is project is Tazewell County Sheriff's Office, 101 S. Capito l St,
Tazewell County. Pekin, IL 61554 .

The fundin g would be used to develop a cou nty wide communication system by purchasing radio
equipment and frequenci es to provide for complete coverage.

I certify thai neither I nor my spouse has any finan cial interest in this project.

I certify thai this request will be made publicly available on my Official Website as required by Cha irman
Obey' s new Comminee policy that only posted requests will be considered .

Addi tionally, I hereby cert ify that to the best of my knowledge thi s req uest (I) is not directed to an ent ity
or program that will be named after a siuing Member o f Congress (2) is not intended to be used by an
ent ity to secure fund s for other entities unless the use of funding is consistent with the specified purpose
o f the earmark; and (3) meets or exceeds all statutory requirements for matchi ng funds where applicab le.
