OBAMA ABYSMAL ON LIFE

On   the  anniversary   of  the  Roe  v. Wade  Supreme Court  ruling,  President 

Obama   issued   a   statement   reaffirming   his   commitment   to   defend   that 
ruling, which he said protected “reproductive freedom.”  He  nullified the 
pro­life   “Mexico   City   Policy”,   making  organizations   that   perform   and 
promote abortion as a method of family planning eligible for  U.S.  foreign 
aid funds.  Obama’s Administration has released $50 million to the United 
Nations   Population   Fund   –   an   agency   that   had   received   no  U.S.  funds 
under   the   Bush   Administration   because   of   its   involvement   in  China’s 
population­control program, which relies heavily upon coerced abortions. 
His  executive order opened the door to federal funding of research that 
requires   the   killing   of   human   embryos.    Obama’s  Administration 
announced   it   would   rescind   (cancel)   a   conscience­protection   regulation 
which   prevents   the   penalization   of   health­care   providers   who   refuse   to 
participate in providing abortions.  

The President has named persons with extreme pro­abortion records to key 
positions, including Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Domestic Policy Adviser 
Melody   Barnes,  Communications   Director   Ellen   Moran,  Health   and 
Human   Services   Secretary   Kathleen  Sebelius,  Food   and   Drug 
Administration   Commissioner   Margaret   Hamburg,  Deputy   Attorney 
General David Ogden,  Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal 
Counsel   Dawn  Johnsen,  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and
Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Melanne Verveer. Obama
has lived up to the “most liberal senator” ranking given him by the
National Journal. Such aggressive abortion policies and actions reveal the
disingenuous nature of his campaign rhetoric to “find common ground”
with pro-lifers.
