TASK SIXTEEN: Music Magazine Planning Dragons Den Pitch

Use this task to help you continue to develop the ideas for your magazine. Use the mood board and the thinking of a concept task to help you and come up with a magazine pitch that you will present to the class. TASK: Create a Dragons Pitch for your magazine. You need to present your pitch to the class. Make sure you create resources for your pitch to ensure that the whole class understand your ideas and can ask questions. You can create a PowerPoint with your ideas on that also includes mock titles, or colours; you could have a link to the mood board expressing your ideas. Really this pitch is up to you but your video should take about 3-5 minutes with questions. Use this task to ensure you have come up with an idea and that you are now ready to plan your magazine. You could do a little target audience research to help develop your idea. PRESENTATION: Create materials for your pitch idea. You need to be prepared to discuss your pitch 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. How did you come up with this idea (use your research to help you) Is there space in the market for this type of magazine? Who is going to be the target audience for your magazine? What pictures are your planning on taking You should have ideas of the double page spread, contents and front page stories Know what the representation of people and the magazine will be like

GRADING: A/A* - the research and presentation will be excellent. Terminology will be used extensively. B/C the research and presentation will be good. Terminology will be used. D The research and video will be proficient. It will be complete but the detail may be limited.

E Work will be complete. Attempts will be made to complete the work and some magazine representational discussions will be evident.
