Contents Page Evaluation

To make my contents page look more creative and fit in with my theme, I decided to add this picture of the paint. It also adds more colour to my page and stand out more to readers. Masthead The masthead is in big , bold writing to show readers that this is the contents page. Without this readers will not have a full understanding of the purpose of the page.

Additional image I made this image smaller so the main image is the one which stands out, but it still gives readers a feel of my magazine. The caption accompanies the picture by giving a brief outline of the band, but not a lot, so they read my magazine to find out more. Logos By adding social networking logos somewhere within the magazine, you are creating a wider audience number. This is because they may like it on facebook, for example and then their friends will see. It also keeps the readers up to date with extra information, such as when the next issue is published.

Contents text By writing information, such as headings of each page, you are producing the main purpose of the contents page. It lets people see if the magazine is write for them and if the contents is something they are interested in. I decided to use this font because it looks like someone has drawn it on the page.

Main Image The image keeps readers interested in my magazine because if there were no images most people will not read it. You will usually find images dotted around the contents pages on most magazines, so thats why I added one on mine. My image fits in with my theme which is arts and music because I covered my model in paint and the way the picture is taken makes her look like she is singing into the paint bottle.
