The Memorials pools are nearly an acre in size and have the largest manmade waterfalls in the North America. The destruction of the Twin Towers and other things caused severe damage to the economy of Manhattan and had a huge effect on global markets, which closed Wall Street until September 17. It also closed civilian airspace in the U.S. and Canada until September 13. In fact a lot of places closed after the attack. It was either because of all the destruction or out of respect

for all of the people that were killed. Many were still afraid that there would be more attacks so that could be another reason. Many innocent people were killed in this attack. The North and South towers were completely destroyed along with all of the people in them. Nineteen Al-Qaeda men were responsible for all of this.
