Linearization with Simulink LTI Viewer Step 1: Launch Matlab Step 2: Launch Simulink Step 3: Create new Simulink

project Step 4: Create Simulink model Step 5: Right Click on INPUT LINE and move cursor to LINEARIZATION POINTS

Step 5: Select INPUT POINT A small arrow pointing down should appear on the input line. Like the one after the STEP FUNCTION block.

Step 6: Right Click on OUTPUT LINE and move cursor to LINEARIZATION POINTS

Step 7: Select OUTPUT POINT A small arrow pointing up should appear on the output line. Like the one before the SCOPE block. Step 8: If you have multiple inputs and multiple outputs repeat for each output and input. i.e. multiple step functions and multiple scopes

Step 9: Click TOOLS and scroll down to CONTROL DESIGN and left click LINEAR ANALYSIS

Step 10: Left Click LINEARIZE MODEL

This is the basic way to Linearize with Simulink Once you see the window titles CONTROL AND ESTIMATION TOOLS MANAGER You may play around here to control your simulation further. Good luck!
